STOP Work- Hitler and the 1936 Olympics Documentary (Edited version)

STOP Work

During the level 2 course the last unit was a joint unit between all three media teachers. We had to come up with our own documentary of our choice. This tested our knowledge on everything we did in the first year. During this unit we had to film, record, and edit our own work using Adobe Premier Pro. This was the first time I used the software by myself- now you wouldn’t even know that I only learnt it last year! During this unit we also learnt a new phrase which was “Vox Pops”. These are when you are interviewing someone using an over the shoulder shot of the interviewer talking to the interviewee. Also Vox Pops are commonly used in news reports where the reporters are out on the street with a camera crew looking for people to talk to (with permission first obviously!).
