State of Mind: Views from an airport in Spain, and a view from the Mountain in Andorra

During the spring of 2015 we went to skiing to a place called Pas De La Casa, which is in Andorra. Now Skiing in spring sounds a bit strange considering it’s more of a winter sport. Thing is, there is still loads of snow to ski on whilst we were there. I took lots of photos, but only two stand out for this category. One of the photos I took was when we were being transferred from the resort back to the airport. I took this one because it felt like we were in the middle of no where and it felt like we were on a desert. But instead of the desert being all sandy, or like the artic deserts, this one had lots of greenery and you could see for miles. If you walked it you’d probably have died because of how hot it was. As you can see from the photo below, just loads of green and nothing else. When not on the coach, it was silent. You could relax and not let the world bother you. When on the coach it was a complete different atmosphere, people talking, laughing and ready to go home back to England or where ever they were from.DSC_0003.JPG

Now the second photo is actually up in the mountains in the resort. Here you can see an endless range of mountains into the distance. It’s funny because skiing is a sport and you have to keep active. It makes you feel like you’re on top of the world and have no limits. Although this isn’t always the case because there are lots of restrictions to what you can do although many do break them and go off piste. But anyways for me Skiing is a chance to get away from the real world and go to a dream world that is kind of a once in a life time opportunity. I love skiing, it’s one of my favourite sports. I may not be advanced at it but I defiantly would class myself an intermediate in some places.  Whats good is that everyday you discover some place new whereas if you’re on a summer holiday you don’t get the the same feeling…Perfect.jpg
